I have been delaying getting an updated appraisal for my engagement and wedding rings, expecting the process to be a hassle. So happy that I made an appointment with American Gem Registry directly on the website and Neil made the rest very easy. Neil is friendly, professional, and straight to the point. He was able to complete my appraisal for an engagement ring under an hour and let me stay in his office with him while he worked. We had a fun conversation about the industry and he was able to teach me quite a few things, as well! I had never appraised anything before and I have been referred to Neil by someone else in the Jewelry business. Neil took his time to get to know the piece and even had lovely conversation with me during the appraisal. He was very knowledgeable and upfront about the piece and answered any questions I had. We did not speak about this, but Neil noticed that I came in with a mask on and without hesitation or asking, he put on his mask as well. I appreciated the gesture, as my Fiance is an open heart patient and immunocompromised.
